A PASSION TO CREATE

My name is Ron Perkins and I am a born Californian, but have spent the majority of my life living in the Beautiful Pacific Northwest, specifically Redmond, Oregon, where I have been heavily influenced by my incredible surroundings. I am a graduate and former Varsity Track and Field Athlete at the University of Oregon where I double majored in Industrial Design and Business.

As I went through high school and college I came to the realization that I had a deep love for design and fabrication. This is where I decided to focus on woodworking more intently. In 2016, a year after college, I took an opportunity to work with a traditional craftsman from Sheffield, England. In the few years I have spent, I have gained a wealth of knowledge and have refined my creative and fundamental skills.

As of January 2019, I have decided to take the next steps in my career and take the leap into creating my own studio and workshop. I couldn't be happier!

I founded Ron Perkins Design for the main purpose of using my hands to help create a more beautiful world around me and others. I plan on achieving this goal by working together with my clients to make there dreams become a reality. Whether it is something as small as a jewelry box, dining room table or full home remodel. If I can create an environment where my clientele can look around their home and smile at something I have created; I have achieved my goal.
